There is a way that seems right to a man…but use caution…
God, it is so easy to slip into believing what we are doing is right and righteous…and not invite you in to the critical moments between stimulus and response…to create space and time for you to guide our choices and our actions. God, we pray that you mind the gap…instill in us the habit of calling on you in the smallest of moments…give us the confidence to sit in the awkward silences as we wait on you to show us the sign, give us the word, or strum our heart strings. God, we commit to sharpening one another…but we pray that this will always lead to becoming more dependent on you…more often…Amen
