Jesus, in a world burning with worry, you tell us not to worry. In a culture consumed with ingratitude, you tell us to say “thank you.” Lord, we have real and weighty concerns. We give them to you today. We ask you for rescue, refreshment and revival today. We thank you for this, the day you have made. Help us rejoice and be glad in it. And now, in accordance with your word, may we experience your perfect protective peace. Amen.
