Chosen For Joy

Psalm 46:4-8
A pure river flows —
never to be cut off —
bringing joy
to the city of God;
that sacred site
where the Most High
chooses to live.
God never sleeps
and always resides
in the city of joy.
He makes it unstoppable,
unshakable.
The nations are in chaos,
and their kingdoms crumble!
God’s voice thunders
and the earth melts.
The Commander of heavenly armies
surrounds us and protects us.
Our God shelters us
close to His heart.
Come, gaze,
fix your eyes
on what the God can do.
